Fun Fest is Tomorrow! #flgpride

Hello Everyone!

Tomorrow, June 27, is our annual Fun Fest. The students can look forward to an entire day of activities – many of these are outdoors.

Hotdog Lunch will be provided by our School Council, so just pack snacks and make sure you have a water bottle and sunscreen. Please note: staff members are not permitted to apply sunscreen or bug spray to kids.

Your child has been asked to dress in the colours chosen by their class and they all have a team name. For example, 6A are dressing in Red and Yellow and they have called themselves the “Dollar Drink Days.” Hopefully you have received this information from your child’s classroom teacher via email or agenda book.

If you can come and join us, that would be great as we can always use volunteers.

Drive-Thru Coffee and Treat Morning

coffee and donut

Thank you for volunteering your time in the classroom by assisting with fieldtrips,  school events and activities, hot lunch, doing work for your child’s teacher and helping in the classroom. You also volunteer your time at home with your child by helping them with homework,  home reading, preparing work for your child’s teacher and making lunches. All of these things, no matter how big or small, assist in contributing to your child’s education.

In order to show our appreciation for the countless hours of support our parent volunteers provide to the staff and students of Ecole/Escuela Father Leo Green, our staff is hosting a DRIVE-THRU Coffee and Treat morning.

We look forward to serving you a drink and small treat!

Friday, June 2nd between 7:45 and 8:45 am

FLG’s Got Talent!

Our Social Justice Club has been working hard preparing FLG’s Got Talent that will take place on Friday, May 5th at 12:30pm. We have 50 groups performing and we are so excited to celebrate the many talents of our students. Thanks to all of the students who came out to audition.

If possible, all students are asked to please bring a loonie or toonie for the event as the Grade 6s will be collecting the money to purchase more animal bundles in Nicaragua. We thank you in advance for your continued support!
